Light Travel in Cloud Mirror | Hiking to Mount Mogan is the impulse in plain days


As the modern transport involves more and more developed means, it is easier and faster to reach the destination. In the contrary to such crude and boring trips, “hiking” brings us closer to the nature, comes along with more challenges and has become a choice for some people. They feel the journey with their steps, rather than glancing at the sceneries on a 60 mile per hour bus. Shedding sweat and gathering appreciations should be how we live in the most positive way.

For urbanites, it is a faraway dream to be backpacker tramping over hills and dales, while a “light hiking” on an easy and short journey is the most appropriate.

To this end, Cloud Mirror has designed a featured light hiking route of 45 minutes, starting from Cloud Mirror, covering flat path and dirt bamboo road, until Mount Mogan Resort. Some simple preparations may set you out on journey at any moment in Cloud Mirror. This light hiking is not hard, not energy-consuming. It is more of a mountain walk exercise for getting close to the nature.

The walking route is not complicated. Basically you head toward the northeast along a cement road. Once passing by the village Mawuli, you see many dirt roads. As the saying goes, “All roads lead to Rome”. Although they are zigzagging, they all guide you to the destination sincerely – Mount Mogan Resort. It is unnecessary to feel worried. Just relax, take the walk and appreciate the views.

Farmhouse, bridges over streams, distant mountains and nearby smokes. Have you ever tried to be so close to the nature? This is the most pastoral part in the hiking route from Cloud Mirror and Mamuli. Brisk paces bring along a light mood.

You may come across a Jiangnan style house. The white wall and black tiles, plus some dense shade, interpret the power of life, which is so moving.

Go up the mountain after Mawuli, you will see a four-season scenery formed by a deep bamboo forest. In prosperous years, you may dig bamboo shoots here. This part may be harder, without well-shaped stone road on the mountain, so you will need to take firm steps. It is tiring and you may sweat, but you will also feel an extraordinary comfort physically and mentally.

Energetic people may arrive at Mount Mogan Resort after a 40-minute walk. Make more efforts and reach to the peak, then on the top of the mountain, you will have an open sight, breath some fresh air, feel the joy of accomplishment. Such should be the best reward for the light hiking.

Prepare enough drinking water and food to keep the energy.

* Wear light and comfortable shoes, and prepare a jacket to prevent cold in the changing weather.

* Take a rest as soon as possible if any such symptoms present as palpitation, fatigue and sweating, dizziness, etc.
